Shannon Falls (Squamish BC)

This original plein air piece was painted on location at Shannon Falls in Squamish BC. I began painting around 10am in the morning when the entire falls was in shadow with just the sun hitting the very top edge of the water and trees. I Managed to capture enough of the shadow that encapsulated the scene before the sun came over head and flooded everything with light.
