When I painted this piece I was looking at how important it is for one to cultivate a healthy inner ecosystem so that the Seeds of Self and Life Creation can grow. I was realizing how easy it is…or at least how easy it seems to be to contaminate the soil of our inner reality with the types and nature’s of thoughts we allow within our minds/bodies/beings, and as such nothing reflecting the best version of ourselves ever seems to take root. So I was looking at how to cultivate the inner self to be an inner sanctuary through no more accepting and allowing myself to participate with those particular thoughts I KNOW are destructive to me and so support the best possible version of myself to actually emerge from the within and into the without.
